i always thot weddings should be a happy affair. but the one going to take place in my extended family now feels like a time bomb, can go awfully wrong anytime. i am kinda worried what will happen on wed, starting from the morning when the groom has to go fetch the bride, when the couple offers tea to the elders, when...i dunno what other ceremonial rites they have to go thru, but it seems to me that any of them can go wrong.

oh well, i am hoping hard that everyone keeps their temper in check and keep it a joyous occasion. i am worried because this particular family marrying their daughter off isnt all that happy one. the dad is kinda cranky...the mum gets into squabbles with him quite often..the dad hit her before...poilce order was issued also. the dad got into squabbles with his brother/sister-in-laws too. those situations are just totally unsightly. i really hope the wedding dinner will be a peaceful one.

this afternoon, i met this guy who is so into tattoos. i think he has done it more than 10 times such that his chest, both arms - the full length, from shoulder to wrist, one full leg - the thigh still left to be coloured...WOW. but then although he has an attitude, he's really not a pai kia, he's quite funny. haha =P i guess one of the perks of my job is being able to meet people whom i wouldnt have met otherwise in my daily life. =D

one more thing about work, i must really thank our cameraman, he's really nice and patient with me, helped me quite a big deal alr. glad he understands my plight, (cos he's also working for a boss), but helps me nonetheless. i say i am paiseh to always have to trouble him when i might not even get to use the equipment he passed to me, but he says "it's my job, if i dun help you then who do i help?" hmmm. and everytime i thank him, he says "no need" =) a really nice man.
我觉得在这短短20年的生命旅程中，我遇到了不少贵人。一个小学老师让我学会说“对不起”，另外一个启发了我对中文的兴趣。中学时代，贵人不是老师而是教练。她的信任让我更努力地当一个好队长、她的严苛让我成为一个更出色的后卫；她教会我什么叫“运动家的精神”、什么叫“不放弃”、什么叫mental strength。到了高中，clique里面的都变成了我的贵人，因为她们接受一个背景不同的人为好朋友，让我成功走出comfort zone。

一旦开始接触大社会，就会发现残酷的现实很难让你在工作上碰到“好人”，更别说“贵人”（或许新明娱乐组是吧，把我拉进去的英敏、帮我写appraisal的雪梅姐，还有往往教我用什么做开头、问什么最有看头的韵红）。我只知道自己非常感激身边有一些“天使”般的工作伙伴，还好有他们，我还不至于被这pattern多过badminton的现实吞噬。

i dun even know if i am really expressing what i want to express. but oh well. the idea is there i suppose. haha =P
