i was having dinner with my parents at a hongkong cafe in lot1 last evening. naturally, the topic of my exchange came up again. sometimes, i feel they are even more excited than me about my going to hongkong next jan, especially my dad. my parents keep asking me if the exchange is confirmed, and more than once, i said, "yes, more or less, but now waiting for the hongkong uni to send the letter over lor." if they are not together, my mum would ask, "your hongkong confirm liao mah? you still dun want to book ticket?" and my dad would be, "your hongkong how?"

i give the standard answer every time, it can get a little irritating, but no, i shall not grow tired of answering them. no point, cos i would just end up raising my voice at them, saying that i have said it so many times, and that wouldnt be nice. after all, they are just being concerned.

i can understand their reaction because hongkong is indeed a place they really enjoy to be in. they already told me where they want to go when they come and look for me after my exams NEXT YEAR, and that i am to keep a lookout for good food and cheap accommodation so that i can arrange the itinerary for them and my aunts and uncles who might go too. my dad wants to see the big buddha and my mum wants to eat her orh lua (which my whole family loves by the way).

actually, i want to book my ticket soon too, esp the one coming back home for cny. then i would think if i am being too gan cheong about it cos it still seems like a long way to go. and this seems like something that should be the last on the priority list now because there is just so much work to do now. oh wells. i hope we get this settled and out of the way soon. really.

half of the sunday is gone now, i haven't done much as usual. i slept at 4am, was watching some hk drama online. only woke up at 130pm, been watching tv and using the net since. wow. i'm really good at procrastinating eh? -_-

by the way, i found 120HKD in my drawer. heh.
