caught lions for lambs with a bunch of cs people today after 206 - though some of us are not even halfway thru like *ahem* cheryl, we behaved like we all finished exams already and were liberated! even bothered to walk all the way to ah fang for dinner can! haha =P i somehow just love that place, cos i miss those suppers i had with the group. =)

anyway, i think the movie was quite impactful on a personal basis, though it was kind of heavy to be a relax-after-exam-movie. i think the effect might not be as pronounced if we are not comms students. hmmm dunno lah. lol. don't know who jio us all to watch one lor! *AHEM*

the thing about watching movies these days - i don't know if it is cos i am a comms student - is that i seem to be able to find things i learn in school appearing all so frequently on the big screen! ahhhh. like, the experience and meaning of watching movies have changed. lol.

take for example, in the movie today, i saw something about journalism ethics, something about agenda-setting, something about 206's design elements and principles - even in the closing credits i saw graphic design! i saw something about media effects too. oh, even the use of photoshop seems to somehow be related to what i do in school. daphne said she was subconsciously paying attention to how the shots are done and all. the best part? we burst out in laughter when we saw "MEAD hall". now now, does that remind you of some chicago school scholar you learnt in 207?

well well, i wonder if i will ever watch movies again like before. the last time this happened, i was watching 881 with xuemei and we were also trying to figure out stuff CS-related. -_-
