yes it's christmas eve and i am at home. =) well, i did go out this afternoon but it was to temple at bugis waterloo street 四马路. it actually felt kind of odd to be there today because in singapore, it seems as if christmas eve = you should be somewhere in town. i wonder if the crowd i jostled with at the area also felt this way. -_-

anyway, tmr will be another day of staying in cos we are having a christmas dinner at home, HOORAY! =) my mum is working, so i think the 3 of us will be trying to whip something up. hahaha. so exciting! ok lah actually no matter if it's a festive occasion or not, it's always exciting to me so long as we eat as a family. i already told them that i want to have a steamboat dinner on 6 jan, the day before i fly! talking about that, i can't believe it's only exactly 2 weeks away! the next 2 weeks are going to fly by very quickly! i better finish meeting whoever i am supposed to meet before i leave for hong kong man. RAHHH.

last evening, we had a gathering at leigh's place. she prepared all the food - pasta, pork chops, bacon wrapped around golden mushrooms / asparagus, apple crumble - with a little help from the capable cook team aka daph, cheryl and me. LOL =P ok i admit i dint do much, but who cares, cos the food was really nice! THANKS LEIGH! =) and i think, DAPHNE is actually quite a homely person. hahaha. well at least judging from her helping me with the pork chops and the washing of dishes. OH, she said she ENJOYS doing the dishes! goodness me. hahaha =P we had a gift exchange too! i got a book from erwin. the title: the other boleyn girl by philippa gregory. i must say it's a decent present, except that i have no idea what the book is about at all and that i am not one who reads! HAHAHA =P i was telling the rest maybe it's a motivating factor for me to stop watching my online videos and start reading books! haha. okok here's my aim: to finish the 625-page book by the end of my exchange in hong kong. dun expect too much from me lah, i think if i can achieve this, it's already good enuf. LOL =P

but now er...i want to go off to watch my idol drama. i'll start on the book another day lah huh? haha =P i realise i haven't been on msn much these days, well that's cos i have been busy watching vids online! =)
