ahhh i'm starting to miss cs - a thot i suddenly had when walking back to hall last night. suddenly, i miss the benches, i miss seeing the familiar faces, i miss sitting there supposed to be doing work but end up talking to the whole world and doing everything else but work. i miss our group. then again, i'm somewhat glad i'm not in school this sem because most of us (BUT FEEBS, I MISS YOU SO MUCH!) are all over the world. i miss the high five gang (you know who you are ah...) too! i talk to a couple of them on and off, but it just feels so weird knowing that i'm actually not that near to them even if msn replies can be instantaneous. strange. is this the so-called homesickness coming into play?

but i dun miss my family that much, because i talk on the webcam with them often enuf, i call them once in a while (i just did last night cos my sis is in beijing / dalian, so cant do webcam). but it feels kinda odd that i wasnt there this morning to see my younger brother go into army! that would have been cool! haha =) so at least for the next 2, 3 weeks till my bro comes out for cny, it will just be my parents and my sis at home. oh no, i can imagine how boring that is. hahah =P well, even before my brother went into army, i think my parents must have felt bored alr, cos i'm not there to entertain them. haha =P

the four of us here have had a good time so far, i'm enjoying myself most of the time, but somehow i have my emo periods too, esp when i dun understand certain mechanics of the relationship, cos after all, it felt like coming here with 3 strangers to begin with, if you get what i mean. so that means trying to understand and figure out what these 3 people are like, what kind of mindsets they have, what kind of expectations they have, what kind of communication style they adopt, and how not to step on their tails. it's tiring. but then i guess it's all part of the whole exchange package - a chance to not just understand the other foreign / local students, but your fellow peers, whom you have seen ard in school but nv crossed paths, as well.

you can say that i am thinking too much, but if you know me, you should know that i thrive on being with people, and since the closest people to me here in hk are the 3 of them, i just feel it's impt for me to know them at least a little better so i know what i should do / say / how i should behave. =) i was a little taken aback by something this afternoon (i thot i was showing concern, i thot i dint deserve that kind of response), though it's sort of uncomfortable in some way, i guess if i want to look on the more positive side, it's still a way of learning about someone, albeit in the more "painful" way. haha =P i am also saying this because for some things i do, the reaction / response i get is different if i do the same thing in front of say, feebs, cheryl, daph....MARY, or even ziliang or shannon, and my high five (=P)....so i'm still "learning" yah? do you guys know what i am talking about ah? haha =P

in any case, i just want to say i miss the people lah. =P 5 mths suddenly seems like a long long time. TSK.

p.s. shuhui (i'll be nice and not call you mary =P), i'm thankful you are actually working now (cos you can use msn and you've accompanied me for most of my waking hours today), cos you can "entertain" me. haha =P even though i dint tell you all the stuff i typed above when we were talking on msn, i feel better cos you always make me feel like laughing (AT you =P)! but seriously, thanks a lot k? =) haha. though i bet you are probably wondering about what you did that i can actually say this =P hahaha. it's okay, i know it myself can already =)
